On Wednesday, 24th July, 2024, the office of the SRC General Secretary in Collaboration with the UBIDS SECRETARIES ALLIANCE embarked on a compassionate initiative, "Feeding the Street Initiative," by visiting the poor and needy at Wa market square. The team distributed essential items, including food, water, and fruits, to those struggling on the streets.

The theme of the initiative, "Feel Good; Achieve Greatness, Together We Can," resonated deeply with the recipients, who were touched by the kindness and generosity. The SRC General Secretary and team were met with smiles and gratitude as they handed out the donations.

The "Feeding the Street" initiative aimed to address the pressing issue of hunger and malnutrition among the vulnerable population. By providing sustenance, the SRC General Secretary's office hoped to bring some comfort and relief to those in need.

As the team navigated the market, they encountered individuals from all walks of life, each with their own story of struggle (The cripple, deaf, dumb, blind, poor and needy). The SRC General Secretary emphasized the importance of empathy and support, stating, "We are all human beings, deserving of dignity and respect. By feeding the street, we aim to restore hope and inspire greatness in those who need it most.".

The recipients expressed their heartfelt thanks, with some even shedding tears of joy. The Wa market community praised the SRC for their selfless act, acknowledging the significant impact it would have on the lives of the beneficiaries.

This noble initiative by the SRC General Secretary's office serves as a beacon of hope, demonstrating the power of collective action and kindness. As the theme suggests, by working together and supporting one another, we can achieve greatness and create a more compassionate society.

Kudos to the SRC General Secretary and team for their unwavering commitment in helping others.
