It’s Official: Dr. George Elombi sworn in as Afreximbank President on Saturday: Dr. George Elombi, a Cameroonian national and seasoned executive, has been sworn in as the fourth President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Afreximbank. With a remarkable journey at the Bank since 1996, Dr. Elombi ascended to the position of Executive Vice President, Governance, Legal, and Corporate Services before assuming this prestigious role.

Taking over from Prof. Benedict Oramah, who steered the Bank since 2015, Dr. Elombi's appointment signifies a continuity of leadership rooted in a profound understanding of Afreximbank's mission and structure. His pivotal contributions in shaping the institution's group structure, legal frameworks, and bolstering its capital base exemplify his dedication to the Bank's growth and resilience.

Dr. George Elombi is the fourth President and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Afreximbank. A Cameroonian national and seasoned executive, Dr. Elombi has been with the Bank since 1996, rising through the ranks to become Executive Vice President, Governance, Legal and Corporate Services.
