Erling Haaland of Man City and Martin Odegaard of Arsenal are two of the seven candidates for Premier League Player of the Season. Haaland is the front-runner for this prize because, since joining Man City from Borussia Dortmund for about £51 million last summer, he has become a sensation in the Premier League. The Norwegian international has seven assists for his Man City teammates and 36 goals in 33 league games this season.

In contrast, Odegaard has improved since taking over as the team's new captain, becoming one of Arsenal's best players. The 24-year-old has played in 35 Premier League games this season and contributed to 22 goals.

Due to his performances this season, Kevin De Bruyne, who previously won this award, has received a second nomination. If he triumphs, he will have won the league's top player honor at the season-ending awards
ceremony three times.
The other four nominees are Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur, Kieran Trippier of Newcastle United, Bukayo Saka of Arsenal, and Marcus Rashford of Manchester United.

The Premier League Young Player of the Season award is also up for grabs, with Haaland, Odegaard, and Saka competing. Along with two other members of his Arsenal team, Gabriel Martinelli has received a nomination for the honor. Brighton has had a fantastic season as they compete for positions in Europe. Both Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo are in the running for the YPOTS award and are frequently mentioned in connection with significant moves elsewhere.
