Captain
Smart during one of his shows is purported to have alleged that Mr. Ofori-Atta
has taken a 10% share out of the International Money Fund’s $3 billion bailout
for Ghana.
Do you
know that Ken Ofori-Atta has taken his 10% share of the funds from the IMF? He
keeps 10% of each loan we accept.
"Recovery
of the sum of Ten Million Ghana Cedis (GH10,000,000.00) as general damages
including aggravating and/or exemplary damages for defamation for the libel
uttered by Defendant," is what Ken Ofori Attah asks in a lawsuit he filed
against Captain Smart.
Demands an
apology and retraction for the comments that were criticized and specifically
mentioned above, among other reliefs.
